For a cost of £50 you could feed us for a day giving us our daily calory intake.
Rowing for 12 hours a day is hungry work. Our routine - 2 hours on, 2 hours off, 24 hours a day until we finish - will burn more than 8,000 calories each day, more than three times the normal average for an active male. To provide us with the calories we need the basis of our diet will be high calorie freeze dried meals. We will also take a mix of snacks – such as chocolate, nuts and biscuits – to provide us with an energy boost between meals. We will take enough food for 80 days.
